These are mainly first shift opportunities with a pay rate of $30-35/hour dependent on experience & skill level. Journeyman Service Pipefitter- Facilities

Journeyman Service Pipefitter- Facilities Principal Duties and Accountabilities: • perform daily assigned and/or openWO work orders with a sense of urgency. • Provide additional assistance to team members running critical alarms as needed. • Provide assistance to PM (Preventive Maintenance) crew. • Diagnose and Troubleshoot issues found at the time of the PM shutdown. • Assist others with PM tasks as time allows. • Make repairs noted during a PM while the equipment is still down for the PM. • Obtain parts quotes and follow through on ordering new parts. • Be available to work days off to assist with large PM shutdowns if extra help is needed. • Provide additional assistance to fellow Break Fix techs. • Must demonstrate willingness to teach, train, and share experience and knowledge with all Team Members. • Schedule Repairs • Respond to WO's generated by others. • Assist the Facility Lead Engineer by monitoring the WO In-Box and WO email notifications. • Run WO's as soon as possible after they have been generated. • Excellent communication is necessary among co-workers and management. • Provide a detailed log at the end • Pipefitters must be on the rotating on-call schedule to help outside of their normal working hours. • Will report directly to the Facility Lead Engineer. Education: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: • Must be a United States Citizen capable of passing Q Level clearance to work in a secure government facility, including credit, drug, and legal background checks required. • Preferred building Traders Journeyman Service Pipefitter with a minimum of 3 years mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience. • Familiar with Windows, Word, Excel, Bluebeam, and can learn additional building systems as required. • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external personnel. • Demonstrates strong knowledge of mechanical systems and can learn additional building systems as required. • Must understand and comply with all safety and OSHA requirements. Requirements: • Must be a United States Citizen. • Must be able to obtain Security Q-clearance upon hire. Physical and/or travel demands: • The position includes sitting and standing, telephone use, and using the keyboard and computer monitor. • The position requires using hand and power tools frequently. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.
