General Pipefitter/Welder.

Fabricate, install, maintain, assemble, and repair piping systems. These systems include cooling, hydraulic, pneumatic, and high-pressure assemblies that transport water, steam, chemicals, or fuel for commercial or industrial use. In addition to welding, pipefitters often utilize a wide range of other processes throughout the course of their work, including cutting, threading, brazing, soldering, bending, and grooving. Responsibilities • Welding, cutting, fabricating, installing, testing, and maintaining piping systems • Layout, bend, or alter piping components for size and fit • Use hand tools and power tools • Inspect piping systems to test for strength or leaks • Analyze design plans and understand building codes • Understand piping system operations Essential Skills • Highly motivated and self-directed • Flexible and able to work in a team environment • Logical and critical thinker • Mechanically inclined and mathematical aptitude • Proficient in print reading and layout Welder specific: Must be able to demonstrate welding proficiency. Strong mechanical & welding background, with solid work history. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals. Follows applicable welding procedures. Welds on the ground level, above ground and below ground, in any required position. Welds steel materials such as plates, pipes, sheets, tanks, etc. Fabricate, install, repair, or replace, building mechanical components. Responsible for work conforming to drawings and notes thereon. Cleans up material by grinding or chipping. Tack welds for assembly purposes. Bevels and straightens material. Does minor layout. Moves material to and from the work area. Moves welding equipment to material when necessary. Positions fittings held by a fixture, hand, or jib. Use a variety of hand tools and welding equipment. Communication skills – written, text, email. Experienced Plumber Purpose: The purpose of an Experienced Plumber is to install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in water, gas, and drainage systems according to specifications and building codes, working with little to no supervision with a team of apprentices. Responsibilities: • Lead jobs, crews, projects, and apprentice plumbers • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures in water, gas, and drainage systems according to specifications and building codes • Identify safety problems applicable to the installation and take necessary corrective action • Operate mini excavator to dig trenches to specific grades and project plans • Be able to dig around buried utilities • Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and take pictures of locates along excavation path • Backfill and compact trenches as needed, ensuring proper slope and drainage • Read blueprints, take supervisor and/or contractor instruction, and complete quality control sheets • Make decisions on the job site, without disruption to the business or to work and job quality Qualifications: • Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team • Ability to produce quality work • Excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders, general contractors, and project managers • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures • Ability to follow directions • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license • Strong work ethic that you display daily • Ability to work 6 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday • Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
