Core Responsibilities Installation: • Lay out sprinkler systems following blueprints and project instructions. • Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and related fittings with accuracy. • Install sprinkler heads, supports, hangers, and system components. • Drill openings in walls and floors for piping routes. Maintenance & Repair: • Inspect existing sprinkler systems for leaks, wear, or damage. • Perform regular testing and preventative maintenance tasks. • Repair or replace defective components when needed. Code Compliance: • Stay informed and compliant with local fire codes and safety standards. • Make sure all work consistently meets required regulations. Documentation: • Keep detailed records of installations, tests, and repairs. • Notify supervisors of any issues or non-compliance findings. Qualifications Experience: • Previous experience in a similar trade, especially in pipe threading, is preferred but not mandatory—we offer thorough training.
