The Plumber will be responsible for both residential and commercial projects, providing exceptional service while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. Duties/Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and other equipment as necessary. • Provide technical assistance with the design of systems including installations and modifications to existing systems. • Complete preventive maintenance of systems and maintenance services as directed. • Prepare, record and report describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions. • Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures and safety regulations sufficient to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law. • Follow safety rules/procedures; avoid known hazards in the work environment. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project details and timelines. • Provide training for plumbers helpers/apprentices. • All other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to work independently. • Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to function in a high paced environment. • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Physical Requirements • Able to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb ladders use hands to finger, handle or fell and reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel for periods of time. • Must be able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, and other plumbing equipment. • Ability to focus and to differentiate between colors and shades of color. • Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
