SHIFT: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm (OT as needed) PAY RATE: $23.00 - $25.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefits Package LOCATION: Huron, SD SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Employee is responsible for various types of spiral mill machine operation, including recorrugator machines, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture corrugated steel pipe to customer drawings, specifications or other forms of instruction. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Follow all company safety and quality requirements • Ability to change tooling corrugations according to print. • Ability to set machine for different gages. • Knowledge of overhead crane used to move coils. • Assist with all scheduled/unscheduled repairs. • Use of wire feed and arc welding equipment. • Maintain accurate daily production reports. • Assist with all scheduled/unscheduled repairs. • Poly recoating of poly coated products. • Quality Control (QC) inspections as trained by the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager or Quality Supervisor • Communicate non-conformance and/or corrective action details to the QA Manager or Quality Supervisor directly or through immediate supervisor • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain and wind). • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed. • Prompt and dependable attendance. • Other duties as assigned.
