Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration, Inc. is a design-build refrigeration contractor specializing in Commercial and Industrial refrigeration systems for customers in the upper Midwest with offices in Marshall, MN, Sauk Rapids, MN and Sioux Falls, SD. We are looking to hire an experienced pipe fitter with the ability to travel from their home to work sites. Travel expenses including lodging and mileage will be paid for by the company. The individual will not be required to travel to the home office in Marshall, MN on a regular basis. Full-time position with company benefits. • Health, Vision, Dental • PTO and Holiday Pay • 401K Retirement Plans • Life and AD&D Insurance • Short and Long Term Disability • Annual Discretionary Bonus • Weekly pay • Premium pay for HPP (MN High Pressure Piping) Certification • Starting hourly rate based on experience • Paid travel time: Travel time is paid from the employees' home to work site, or main office location to work site - Whichever is closest. • Per Diem plus hotel paid when travel required Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: • Work closely with team members, including pipefitters, welder apprentices, and supervisors, to coordinate tasks effectively and complete projects within specified deadlines. • Read and understand blueprints and specifications for the proper installation of industrial refrigeration systems. • Utilize proficient math skills and accurately measure for proper field layouts. • Installation of support equipment such as hangers, brackets, and stands according to specifications. • Prepare pipes for welding using handheld and power tools relevant to pipefitting processes, including but not limited to pipe saws, pipe beveling machines, threading machines, etc. • Possess and utilize the proper fitting tools to ensure proficiency in the job. • Operate equipment for material movement, such as telehandlers or forklifts. • Work at heights while operating scissor lifts or boom lifts. • Complete jobs at manufacturing plants, food processing plants, and other industrial settings. • Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area. • Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
