NSC Staffing is seeking experienced Marine Pipefitters to join our team for exciting shipyard projects. As a Marine Pipefitter, you will remove, repair, fabricate, and install piping systems aboard vessels in compliance with Navy, MSC, and ABS standards. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role where your craftsmanship ensures the safety and efficiency of complex marine systems. What You’ll Do: • Fabricate, install, and repair marine piping systems according to specifications and drawings. • Use industry tools such as pipe threading machines, benders (manual and power), drill presses, and brazing equipment. • Perform blanking and pressure testing of tanks and boundaries. • Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and work orders. • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. • Guide and support helpers and improvers on assigned tasks. What We’re Looking For: • 2+ years of pipefitting experience, with at least 2+ years in marine/shipyard environments. • Knowledge of P-73 joint fit-up and Silver Brazing theory. • Ability to certify in: • MT Braze (B-1) • MT Braze (B-2) • Proficiency with both U.S. standard and metric systems. • Strong understanding of marine pipe fabrication and repair processes. • Physically and medically capable of wearing PPE (respirators, harnesses, hard hats, etc.).
