Category: Radiology City: Martin State: Tennessee Shift: 12 - Night (United States of America) Job Description Summary: Responsible for performing radiographic diagnostic procedures and for selecting technique factors and positioning. Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Radiology Manager, responsible for performing diagnostic procedures on an assigned shift as scheduled. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital. Responsibilities Performs all high-quality radiographic procedures on patients of varying ages. Proficient use of all diagnostic radiographic equipment. Operation and care of computerized processing system. Provides an explanation for pre and post-instruction to patients. Assists the radiologist and physicians in performing radiographic procedures or tasks. Practices and maintains safety regulations established or required and completes incident reports. Ensures the proper segregation and safe disposal of hazardous pharmaceutical waste. Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department. Qualifications EDUCATION: Skills and proficiency in the technical field of Radiologic Technology. Such proficiency is acquired through the completion of a formal education program in Radiologic Technologic (ARRT) that is accredited by AMA. LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: Current CPR certification. Responsible for maintaining a current license with the ARRT. Is proactive and ensures the availability of a current license, does not let the license lapse at the end of the birth month. Notifies any known problems with their license immediately to the Director. EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in performing MRI. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Consistently smiles and is pleasant to patients, visitors, and co-workers. Cheerfully adheres to and promotes the "Quality Plus" and departmental "Service Excellence" expectations standards. Must demonstrate computer skills necessary to interact with a Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archive Communication System (PACS). Equipment Operator

The City of Martin is accepting applications for The following Full-time position: Public Works Department Equipment Operator Operator will be responsible for skilled equipment operation of considerable difficulty. An employee in this position operates a backhoe, track hoe, variety of trucks, and other equipment in the maintenance and repair of water lines, roads, and other facilities. Work may run from heavy manual labor through skilled equipment operation, but emphasis is upon skilled equipment operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. Considerable experience in the operation of heavy equipment. LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: A valid Tennessee Commercial Driver’s License (C.D.L.) appropriate to the assignment is required. Hourly rate: $18.00/hour. Steam Plant Specialist II, HVAC Department Job Description Description The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Department at The University of Tennessee at Martin is accepting applications for a Steam Plant Specialist II position. This is a regular, full-time position with benefits. Responsibilities Job Duties: • Required to work a rotating shift during the operation of the steam plant during heating season (mid-October through mid-April). This work includes monitoring and adjusting of control pumps, fans, dampers, motors and compressors to maintain the proper steam pressure and firing conditions in buildings. Reads and records gauges and meters periodically to assure proper functioning of the boilers, records reading and other data on log sheets. • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on auxiliary Steam Plant equipment including de-aerator, condensate return system, boiler water make-up system, chemical treatment, and water softeners. Change air filters and perform preventative maintenance on all types of heating/cooling equipment (campus wide). • Install and modify equipment to include: 1. Metal fabrication; (design, cutting bending, brazing, and welding) 2. Electrical work including running conduit and minor electrical wiring; 3. Minor plumbing repairs; 4. Pipe fitting (cutting, threading, design, and construction of piping systems). • Work in confined spaces as per OSHA standards. • Perform work that will require some heavy lifting. • Work from heights up to 50 feet. Proper protection will be provided. • Required to attend training, possible out of state, also may include asbestos training. • Must be available for callbacks and able to work overtime as required. • Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Typically requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and four years' experience in field or completion of trade school or apprenticeship.
