Energy Manager (Clean and Renewable Energy)

Meta is seeking an Energy Manager for Clean and Renewable Energy in Frankfort, KY. The role involves developing and managing renewable energy supply solutions for data centers, collaborating with various internal teams, and engaging with external stakeholders. Summary: Meta’s Global Energy Team is seeking a highly experienced energy professional to identify, develop, negotiate, and manage clean and renewable energy supply solutions for our growing fleet of data centers.The Energy Manager (Clean and Renewable Energy) will support the continued development and execution of Meta’s global energy strategy centered on a supply portfolio of cost-competitive clean and renewable energy sources consistent with the company’s overall strategic objectives. In this role you will be developing optimal renewable energy supply solutions by creatively leveraging their skills and significant experience across a spectrum of renewable energy supply issues including project development, finance, commercial, regulatory, market, technical, legal, and tax. Required Skills: Energy Manager (Clean and Renewable Energy) Responsibilities: • Lead the identification, creation, development, negotiation, and execution of opportunities to secure new cost competitive sources of clean and renewable energy for Meta’s operations • Support domestic and international, as needed, data center site selection and development activities • Collaborate with internal organizations including sustainability, legal, tax, engineering, and finance to implement supply solutions • Develop and grow relationships with key suppliers, developers, regulators, and other stakeholders • Take an active role in regulatory processes and influence the design of new clean and renewable energy supply solutions offered by utilities and other suppliers • Support continued evolution and execution of Meta’s renewable energy supply strategy for domestic and potentially international data centers • Stay informed of the technical, market, and regulatory developments in the renewable energy industry and communicate key trends, risks and potential impacts to management • Lead and support various energy projects as needed, including technology assessment and commercial negotiations for carbon reduction and removal transactions • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (10% to 20% at times) Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a business, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or technically related field • 8+ years experience in developing, acquiring, performing due diligence, and negotiating definitive agreements for utility-scale renewable energy solutions including wind, solar and storage projects • Experience representing business interests to executive leadership teams of potential suppliers, utilities, and other stakeholders • Experience working with detailed financial models of renewable energy projects, identifying key risks and sensitivities, and leading all related due diligence efforts (financial, commercial, technical, development) • Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders and consultants • Experience in utility and grid interconnection processes • Experience in leading negotiations and projects • Experience in communicating commercial, regulatory, market, and contractual details to all organizational levels Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: • MBA or J.D. Construction Scheduler II

Summary: The Construction Scheduler II sets up and maintains construction schedules using Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management software. The Construction Scheduler II provides project estimating, planning, scheduling, pre-construction, and construction support for Wind, Solar, Battery (BESS), and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business lines. This role will be hybrid requiring 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. Requirements: - Participates in required training and follows safety, quality, and environmental management system (SMS, QMS, EMS) procedures. Works with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) group to incorporate safe practices and mitigate safety risks in construction project schedules. - Develops & maintains Construction schedules through Primavera P6 per best practice scheduling procedures and processes while following department directives. - Ensures regular, timely communication/coordination with key project stakeholders from schedule development through schedule changes and project closure. - Trains, guides, supports, and mentors construction site teams in schedule updating, maintenance, use, and adherence processes. - Collaborates with project teams to set up and maintain resources and cost-loaded project schedules across multiple projects, as and when required. - Collaborates with construction project teams on sequencing and a general understanding of means & methods and applying those effects to the schedule. - Performs schedule update & meeting process, gathers daily and weekly schedule status updates from stakeholders and verifies and resolves accurate status updates, out-of-sequence activities, and schedule changes. - Performs schedule-related critical path, adherence, resource, cost, and earned value reporting, as required on the project. - Leads project schedule-related meetings weekly and drives scheduled engagement with stakeholders. - Operates Company vehicle when involved in site operations activities. - Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. - Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures. Energy Manager (Clean Energy Contracts)

Summary: In this role, you will be a key contributor to Meta's Global Energy Team, specifically the Clean Energy Asset Management Team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clean and renewable energy contracts and as needed, carbon reduction or carbon removal agreements, including: supporting/leading negotiations for amendments, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring project development and construction status, and reporting on financial and operational performance for operating projects.
