Summary of Job: This position is responsible for assisting journeyman level construction, installation, alteration and repair of sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings and work orders; provide technical guidance and direction to lower level employees. Job Description: • This role assists in the installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment according to blueprints and work orders. Required Skills and Qualifications: • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred, • 18-24 months of related experience and/or training is required. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the assembly of hoods and sheet metal air-conditioning and heating units. • Accurately interpret blueprints and provide technical guidance to lower-level employees. • Troubleshoot service issues with systematic solutions and procedures. • Demonstrate safe use of tools and equipment. • Provide quality customer service. • Work effectively individually and as part of a team. • Handle disruptions professionally. • Work independently in commercial and construction settings.
