Job Title: Metal Assembler We are seeking a skilled Metal Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal products such as doors and windows. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble parts according to knowledge of product being assembled or by following established processes or procedures. • Fasten parts together with clinching presses, screws, rivets, or other fasteners. Use glue to laminate wood with other materials. • Operate drill presses, sawing equipment, punch presses, laminating, riveting machines and other equipment to assist in assembly operation. • Perform quality checks on products manufactured and at times, check the work of others. • Utilize required safety equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), deemed necessary in company facilities to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards. Requirements: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. • Reading and writing skills are essential. Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence, read numbers and letters facilitating order requirements. • Ability to process specified instructions. • Ability to add, subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
