Responsibilities: • Start as a Service Plumber: Run your own service calls, providing diagnosis, repairs, and installations of residential and commercial plumbing systems. • Plumbing System Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and replace plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, drains, and sewer lines. • Install & Maintain Plumbing Systems: Install, replace, and maintain plumbing systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used, job details, and any recommendations for future service. • Transition into a Supervisory Role: After successfully demonstrating technical proficiency and leadership, you will transition into a Plumbing Manager role. In this capacity, you will: • Oversee the plumbing department in Dubuque, supervising a team of plumbers and technicians. • Ensure quality control and that work is performed in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. • Train and mentor junior plumbing technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. • Manage the scheduling and dispatching of plumbing services, optimizing workflows for efficiency. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management for the plumbing department. • Provide leadership in the field, ensuring high standards of customer service and craftsmanship.
