Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for piping layout and fabrication. Measure, cut, grind, and fit pipe sections with precision and accuracy. Tack weld pipe components securely in place before final welding procedures. Assemble pipe systems using clamps, braces, and tools in accordance with safety and quality standards. Inspect and verify accuracy of piping systems against specifications. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently for all fitting and welding tasks. Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free. Maintain and store equipment properly; report any mechanical issues immediately. Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure job completion and adherence to project timelines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter and/or Tack Welder in an industrial, fabrication, or structural steel environment. Strong knowledge of pipe-fitting tools, materials, and techniques. Ability to read and apply technical schematics and piping diagrams. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Safety-conscious with strong communication and organizational skills.
