Primary Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, ISO’s, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe Miter and fabricate all pipe Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports Steam and heat tracing Use beveling machine Basic plumbing repair Minor valve maintenance and repair Test piping systems Oxygen and acetylene cutting Basic rigging Operation of pneumatic and electric tools Leak test tubing systems Additional responsibilities not listed may be required Qualifications Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience NCCER Certified (written or performance verified) Physical Requirements: Selected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and other repetitive motions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

15235BR Job Title: Pipefitter Helper Job Description: Communicates with Pipefitters and others to perform the job tasks. Manipulates and generally understands the use of different types of power and manual pipefitting layout and construction tools. Assists with installation, maintenance and testing of process piping and utility systems. Cuts, grinds and assembles pipes, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and wedge, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine. Threads pipe using a threading machine. Mounts pipe hangers and supports from structural steel to hold pipe. Assembles and installs a variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings including those made of brass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastics. Joins piping by means of threaded or cemented joints. Secures pipe to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers, using hand tools. Unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation. Cleans and performs maintenance activities on tools and equipment. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials. Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above ground as necessary. Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools. Safely operates power tools and equipment. Adheres to all safety procedures. Understand the use of all types of personal fall arrest systems. Able to assess scaffold.
