We are seeking a candidate who has over 5 years of experience in industrial construction as a journey level pipefitter. The successful applicant will possess basic rigging skills and be proficient in the use of small power tools, such as die grinders and right-angle grinders. You will need to be able to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings and, preferably, piping and instrument diagrams. The role will include testing and commissioning piping systems, requiring at least 3 years of experience in this area. You will be capable of efficiently planning work and preparing weld joints to meet project codes and standards. Proficiency in pipe layout and threading pipe using a threading machine is essential. Additionally, you will need to read and comprehend support details and drawings, assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and work pieces during installation, and perform minor maintenance activities on tools and equipment. The role requires the ability to safely traverse uneven terrain with tools and building materials, climb vertical ladders, and work from heights as necessary.
