We are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our mechanical team for the installation of water source heat pumps, chillers, and associated piping systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or industrial HVAC piping, including reading blueprints, layout, and system integration. Responsibilities include installing, assembling, and maintaining mechanical piping systems to support hydronic heating and cooling applications. Key Responsibilities: • Install, assemble, and secure pipes, fittings, and mechanical equipment for water source heat pumps and chillers. • Lay out, measure, and mark pipe routes using blueprints and specifications. • Thread, weld, solder, or braze pipe components as required. • Perform leak testing, pressure testing, and system flushing. • Support chiller installation including rigging, placement, and connection of water lines. • Install pumps, valves, expansion tanks, strainers, and control valves according to mechanical drawings. • Work with copper, steel, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping materials. • Coordinate with electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades on job sites. • Ensure all work complies with local and national codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. • Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition. Work Environment: • Job sites may include commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, or industrial facilities. • Exposure to varying weather conditions depending on project location. • PPE and safety training provided.
