Skilled Trade - Plumber Pipefitter - Cleveland Engine

Rate of Pay and Benefits: Plumber Pipefitters are paid a top hourly base rate of $42.195, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate for this position is $41.995 with pay increases to the top rate upon completion of three consecutive months of employment. Candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade. Knowledge and work experience in blueprint reading and layout , pneumatic, fluid, and steam systems, fabrication of pipe systems, pipe, mechanical gas arc, and plasma cutting, lifting and rigging and valve installation and repair. Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are required. Drug panel does not include THC. Must be able to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and about facility. Ability to learn, remember, and maintain pace of steps involved in performing a job after instruction, training, and familiarization with the tasks. Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions, both oral or in writing. Ability and willingness to work in a team environment, including helping co-workers, maintaining and promoting a safe work environment, treating co-workers with dignity and respect regardless of personal differences, and accepting and following instructions and requests from leadership.

We are seeking a PVC Pipefitter. For this position, we are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual with technical knowledge. Responsibilities include manufacturing industrial water treatment and wastewater treatment equipment, along with other miscellaneous shop work as necessary. Requirements: • Ability to use hand tools and electric tools • Ability to read and follow blueprints • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. • Ability to work with little supervision • Good communication skills both verbal and written • Excellent attendance • Dependable transportation • Up to 10% travel • Previous experience with PVC pipefitting and other industrial trades • Ability to use hand tools and electric tools • Technical understanding of industrial water and wastewater treatment (desirable)
