Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in the energy sector or industrial facilities. • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics. • OSHA 30-hour Responsibilities: • Service, Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems, including pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures, according to specifications and safety codes. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures. • Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, defects, and compliance with safety regulations, performing repairs as necessary. • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work and ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any modifications made to piping systems. • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. • Use specialized tools and equipment to cut, thread, bend, and join pipes in various materials such as steel, copper, and plastic. Skills: The required skills enable the Service Plumber Pipefitter to accurately interpret technical drawings and apply their knowledge to install and maintain complex piping systems safely and efficiently. Qualifications: • Previous experience in gas utility field operations, pipefitting, or gas appliance service (preferred). • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with gas appliances and systems. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to pass operator qualification (OQ) testing and maintain certifications as required. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, kneel, and work in various weather conditions. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
