This role must ensure world class service is performed while driving a high First Time Fix Rate and Availability. A period of technical upskilling and training could take place at various wind farms and training centers within the SGRE Fleet requiring up to 80% travel. During the operational phase of Coastal Virginia Commercial Project (176 x SG14-222 Direct Drive turbines) this person will then assume a shift pattern living and working offshore (e.g., 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off). How You’ll Make an Impact • Responsible for offshore service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on wind turbines • Active safety leadership when onshore, on board the Service Operations Vessel (SOV), in the turbine and in the Wind Farm - ensuring correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts and conditions • Provide excellent service to our customers • Working safely and effectively in a team of at least 2 people • Ability to work a flexible work schedule is required, along with the ability to analyze and resolve issues independently and efficiently • Ensuring compliance with SGRE standards and U.S. legislation in relation to EHS, Quality and Service delivery What You Bring • The candidate must demonstrate strong initiative and motivation to learn new technology and translate learning into personal success • Relevant work experience, ideally within the wind industry, is preferred or demonstrated knowledge e.g., electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, maintenance/troubleshooting in a military, industrial or automotive industry • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
