Position Specific Description This role responsible as designated point of contact and project manager for Florida Department of Transportation district 1 and agencies in Toledo Blade area. Provide agency plan reviews with team of internal and external engineers and consultants, mitigate and avoid conflicts with existing FPL facilities, and coordinate all relocation and service-related agency requests via FPL work orders from design to construction. Certify DOT projects and ensure compliance with Agency rules & regulations along with application of FPL standards, policy, billing and tariff requirements to meet agency schedules.

Position Specific Description Florida Power & Light Company’s Customer Service Business Unit is seeking a Helper to join their team. This position is responsible for removing and installing existing self-contained single phase on-demand Meters in customer field facilities as a one-person crew only after receiving the single phase, self-contained meter portion of the Meterman B Training Program. The successful candidates’ responsibilities will also include: • Operating in a safe manner at all times in accordance with all safety rules and have excellent safe driving record • Must be able to read watt-hour meter registers and distinguish the different types of meters and type code. • Assisting Meter Electrician “A” or “B” as part of the crew make-up for ladder runs and CT cable pulls and multiple meter sets of more than four (4) meters. • Must be able to work in the direct sunlight, climb ladders and do all other assigned tasks. • Must be willing to travel, support storm events and work extended hours • Employees hired through this MOU will be required to stay within the Customer Service Business Unit for eight months from hired date* Work Schedule Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with extended hours as necessary. Job Overview This classification helps and assists experienced employees in performance of work. They perform duties which do not require any particular skill. Works under the direction of the Maintenance Leader. Accountabilities: • Performs unskilled work and assists skilled employees. • Functions in support of other classifications and their respective accountability. • Performs associated responsibilities according to the rules contained in the safe work practices handbook and the Memorandum of Agreement.
