As a Field Engineer, you will travel to various construction sites, working at the cutting edge of sustainability. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting and monitoring construction activities independently, ensuring they align with our blueprints and meet all necessary specifications and codes. Location & Travel Details: This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time, with the potential to be placed on a project site in any state throughout the US. You'll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to base pay to support your living expenses, as well as routine travel home (rotation) from the job site. Responsibilities: • Promote and adhere to safety policies and procedures. • Inspect and ensure the quality of work on large-scale wind and solar projects. • Verify that construction aligns with design documents. • Review test and inspection reports and communicate any failures to the Field Quality Manager. • Ensure materials comply with approved submittals and specifications. • Perform basic surveying and measurements. • Organize daily activities and accurately record QC and QA data. • Prepare comprehensive daily reports detailing completed work and resource usage. • Prevent and address deficiencies through quality control inspections. • Collaborate with site management to ensure QA/QC compliance. • Assist in developing operations and maintenance manuals. • Support the receiving and inventory process for site materials. • Create/manage punch lists for completed work. • Help manage production and extra work authorization logs. • May prepare daily project updates and validate calibrated tools. • Utilize construction management software for quality inspections and documentation. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Field Engineer I: • Compensation: $65,000-$70,000/year, commensurate with experience. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. • High School graduate or equivalent with two or more years' experience in a related construction field. • Must complete and pass the local or state certified SWPPP inspector program. Field Engineer II: • Compensation: $70,000-$80,000/year, commensurate with experience. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and one to two years' experience in a related construction field. • High School graduate or equivalent with three or more years' experience in a related construction field. • Must complete and pass the local or state certified SWPPP inspector program. Field Engineer III: • Compensation: $80,000-$90,000/year, commensurate with experience. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. • High School graduate or equivalent with four or more years' experience in a related construction field. Skills and Abilities Required: • Commitment to health and safety standards. • Self-starter, organized, and strong written and interpersonal skills. • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. • Capability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical procedures. • Ability to document project activities and ensure compliance. • Effective communication skills with diverse teams. The Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer is responsible for independently assessing building electrical systems while performing technical on-site surveys and in-office analysis on assigned projects. Analysis will include participation in technical studies, investigations, and development of energy-efficient scope on assigned projects. Specific responsibilities include: • Assists in the production of projects that are on-time, within-budget, and meet the requirements of industry standards & codes and client specifications. • Leads, schedules, and conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions independently. Assists in identifying and preparing energy efficient scope. • Performs electrical system calculations including solar energy generation, battery sizing, generator power system sizing, etc. • Interacts in meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects as needed independently; prepares meeting notes. • Designs and prepares documentation for electrical systems for projects including solar arrays, battery energy storage systems, and demand response programs. • Assists Mechanical Survey Team with necessary electrical infrastructure designs to support proposed mechanical equipment changes/upgrades. Can include design work involving switchgears, switchboards, automatic transfer switches, transformers, metering, and generators. • Assists all Renewables Team members with questions concerning electrical engineering design, codes, and one line diagram creation. • Assists the development team in the coordination with other disciplines, including energy modeling, financial modeling, lighting, design, etc. • Assist the Renewables Team Director with Quality Control reviews of project work by other team members. • Attends and/or teaches in-house and external training sessions in necessary technical areas related to building systems. • Participates in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities. • Upholds company owner advocacy philosophy and organizational core values. • Supervises less experienced engineers and/or technicians while managing specific projects. This position is Full-Time, Exempt, and reports to the Director of Renewable Energy. Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year ABET accredited university. • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and aptitude. • Required experience in Excel and Word. • Ability to communicate effectively with facility managers and engineers. • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while on survey. • Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. • Ability to use technology and apps for collecting data while on survey. • Passion for quality and client satisfaction. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors. • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications • Prefer 5-10 years of energy-related client interface for an engineering design firm. • Preferred experience with building energy services in the health and higher-education fields. • Experience with mechanical and electrical design drawings. • Participation in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities. Travel Requirements • 25% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location. Safety Lead

Safety Lead required for a major natural gas power company. Responsibilities: • Implement and monitor all safety procedures and policies in alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements. • Conduct daily jobsite safety audits and provide professional, detailed daily reports. • Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks. • Investigate incidents and near-misses, provide reports, and ensure corrective actions are followed through. • Serve as a safety liaison between field personnel, contractors, and management. • Ensure all project personnel comply with OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations. • Support onboarding and safety training of new hires. • Maintain documentation and safety logs as required. • Assist with site mobilization and conduct new hire safety orientations. • Apply safety best practices specific to natural gas-based generation facilities, including hazard identification related to gas systems, turbines, electrical systems, and confined space protocols. Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of safety experience in construction or industrial environments. • Strong reporting, communication, and organizational skills are mandatory. • Must be capable of producing professional daily safety reports independently. • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and relevant safety standards. • Previous experience working on natural gas, combined-cycle, or thermal power generation facilities strongly preferred. • Certifications such as CHST, OSHA 30/510/500, EM 385-1-1, CUSP, or equivalent strongly preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field is a plus. • Ability to work independently and take initiative. • Willingness to travel and be on-site full time
