Energy Manager (Clean Energy Contracts)

Meta is seeking an Energy Manager for its Clean Energy Contracts team in Baton Rouge, LA. The role involves managing renewable energy contracts, ensuring compliance, monitoring project performance, and leading negotiations. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly with renewable energy contracts. The position offers a salary range of $126,000 to $179,000 per year plus bonuses and benefits. Summary: In this role, you will be a key contributor to Meta's Global Energy Team, specifically the Clean Energy Asset Management Team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clean and renewable energy contracts and as needed, carbon reduction or carbon removal agreements, including: supporting/leading negotiations for amendments, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring project development and construction status, and reporting on financial and operational performance for operating projects. You will have the opportunity to master contract details, analyze financial and operational project performance, resolve disputes, and propose solutions.
