As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications - Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job - Load sheet metal into the machine and position it correctly - Adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and angles of bends - Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions - Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy - Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed - Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role - Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes - Ability to assemble parts using various tools and equipment - Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers - Experience with CNC machines is preferred but not required - Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs on machines - Forklift certification is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
