Responsibilities • Operate precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate dimensions of metal parts. • Utilize CNC machines for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components according to engineering specifications. • Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain high standards of workmanship. • Perform laser cutting and welding tasks to assemble metal structures and components effectively. • Program CNC machines as needed for specific projects, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. • Utilize electrical discharge machining techniques for intricate part fabrication. • Operate stamping presses for producing metal parts in large quantities while adhering to safety protocols. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Requirements • Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role in metal fabrication or machining. • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers. • Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable. • Experience with laser cutting, welding techniques, and electrical discharge machining is preferred. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform quality inspections effectively. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. • Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
