This position is responsible for loading carts and hanging parts to keep our Powder Coat system running at maximum output. Training and assistance will be provided as needed. Here are some details: Typical Responsibilities • Load a wide range of parts onto hanger carts, secure with appropriate spacing for powder coat • Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other materials from metal surfaces • Mask surfaces needing protection as needed • Unload parts after powder is cured, inspect for defects • Palletize and package parts for shipping • Perform assigned work expediently, while always meeting quality specifications • Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials and completed parts • Know when to escalate an issue and ask for help • Float and assist other team members and work centers from time to time • Always work Safely, wear appropriate PPE to protect yourself at all times • Keep work area and tools organized • Follow all company rules and policies • Follow all safety rules and quality standards • Communicate productively with the team to identify and overcome problems • Work productively with the team, build a respectful work environment that we can all be proud of There will be opportunities to cross-train, gain new skills and support other areas of the business.
