Sheet Metal Fabricator We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to embrace Lean Innovation and contribute to a collaborative work environment. This role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, operating various fabrication machines, and assembling sheet metal components with precision and safety. Set up and safely operate machinery, including beaders, roll formers, brakes, and presses. Shape and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and air-assisted tools. Install frames, rods, rings, or angle iron according to specifications. Weld, solder, bolt, screw, caulk, and bond materials to assemble ductwork. Maintain cross-training and track progress using the Fabricator Skills Set Matrix. Adhere to Kanban policies for shop supply replenishment and maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work area by following the "3S" methodology at the start of each work period. Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment. Qualifications & Requirements: Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Strong communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical details and drawings. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Reliable and punctual attendance. Physical ability to perform job functions, including repeated stooping, bending, twisting, leaning, reaching, grasping, standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
