The Roll Form Operator will be responsible for roll forming parts effectively according to customer prints and will work closely with other team members to ensure orders are completed efficiently. RESPONSIBILITES AND REQUIREMENTS: · Fabricate metal parts through the roll forming process while maintaining line productivity standards. · Must follow all SOP's. · Mark all returned or rejected material with a tag and verify the piece count and weight. · Verify all product has been labeled before being stored. · Utilize tape measure, micrometer, and calipers, to measure metal parts to precise specifications. · Safely operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and cranes. · Willingness to be flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors. · Must follow all company policies, shop rules, and safety policies and regulations. · Must maintain a clean and organized workspace. REQUIRED SKILLS: · Ability to accurately report production quantities. · Ability to operate heavy machinery, including forklifts and cranes. · Knowledge of machine operations and maintenance per SOP. · Ability to accurately use a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper. · Manage quality of parts and adjust dies to maintain parts to spec · Strong attention to detail. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Basic math skills, including the ability to add and subtract decimals and fractions. · Must maintain professional conduct at all times. · Physical stamina to lift and move 30 lbs. continuously. · Ability to stand and walk for 9 hours continuously.
