HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Journeyman

Description: ECS is seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Welder/Pipefitter Journeyman to join our team. Responsible for fabricating, welding, and installing piping systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Tasks include reading blueprints, welding pipes, installing ductwork, repairing or replacing existing HVAC piping, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The role requires proficiency in welding techniques, pipefitting, and knowledge of HVAC systems. Must work with a team to complete projects on time and adhere to local building codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Install, weld, and maintain HVAC piping systems. • GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW. • Ensure proper welding and piping techniques are applied. • Collaborate with other trades for system installation and maintenance. • Comply with safety regulations and building codes. • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, including welding diagrams and symbols as well as written and verbal instructions from engineering and management.
