The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in commercial and industrial environments, with a strong background working with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe. Key Responsibilities: • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for commercial and industrial applications. • Work with carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, including cutting, threading, grooving, and welding. • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation. • Fit and install pipe hangers, supports, valves, and fittings. • Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment safely and effectively. • Perform pipe welding, tack welding, or preparation for certified welders as needed. • Ensure systems are installed to code, meet quality standards, and pass pressure/leak tests. • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet schedules. • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following OSHA and company safety protocols.
