Position Overview: The Pipefitter – Foreman provides leadership and direction to pipefitting crews engaged in industrial and commercial projects. This position is responsible for coordinating manpower, materials, and workflow to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Crew Supervision: Lead Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to work plans. • Project Coordination: Plan daily activities, coordinate with other trades, and manage materials and equipment. • Safety Oversight: Conduct safety meetings, enforce compliance, and maintain a hazard-free job site. • Quality Control: Verify that installations meet drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. • Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot and resolve complex piping and system issues. • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and material tracking. Required Qualifications: • Minimum of six (6) years of pipefitting experience, including leadership or supervisory experience. • Deep understanding of pipe systems, materials, and layout techniques. • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to interpret and apply construction drawings and piping isometrics. Preferred Experience: • Experience in industrial plant or process facility projects. • OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification or equivalent. • Familiarity with project scheduling and cost tracking. Work Environment: Field-based position with frequent exposure to construction and industrial environments. May require climbing, bending, lifting, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Reporting Structure: Reports to the Project Superintendent or Project Manager. Directly supervises Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and project scope, in accordance with Nevada law. Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Supervision: Manage multiple crews across job sites, providing direction, scheduling, and mentorship. • Project Planning: Develop and coordinate daily and weekly work plans, ensuring labor and materials align with project objectives. • Safety Management: Enforce safety policies, conduct audits, and lead safety meetings to maintain a zero-incident culture. • Quality Assurance: Ensure all piping installations meet design specifications, project documentation, and inspection requirements. • Communication: Serve as the key liaison between field crews, project management, and clients. • Performance Tracking: Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and report performance metrics to management.
