Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. We are looking to hire several Pipe fitters to join our self-perform team for ongoing work in Charleston, South Carolina. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the Charleston military base. Pay: $45.35 - $48.00 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K) with Match Our Pipe fitters will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and planning of all piping systems on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of pipe fitting principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements for this position include: • High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position. • 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter in a commercial, or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. • Mechanical Pipe Installation • Deep underground experience • Start-up and Energizing Experience (Boilers, Chillers) • Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card is preferred. • Current Welding certificate. • CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certifications preferred. Pipefitter- Construction/Manufacturing

Job Title: Pipefitter** • *We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our marine engineering team for the Simanek ship project. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems critical to the vessel's operations. Read and interpret ship schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine pipe system layouts. • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install pipes using appropriate tools and techniques. • Fit and secure pipes by welding, bolting, or brazing according to specifications. • Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity and compliance with marine standards. • Collaborate with welders, structural fitters, and engineers to coordinate installation and repair work. • Maintain and repair existing piping systems, including fuel, water, hydraulic, and steam lines. • *Experience in pipe fitting. • Capable of pipe welding. • Prior construction or industrial experience is a plus. • Join a dynamic marine engineering team where safety and precision are valued.
