Job Description As a Licensed Plumber with Duty Calls Plumbing, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while upholding our high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer care. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, values doing the job right the first time, and wants to be part of a supportive, family-oriented team. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems (water, drain, gas, venting, and fixtures). • Diagnose plumbing problems accurately and provide safe, code-compliant solutions. • Service a wide range of fixtures and systems including water heaters, sump pumps, water treatment systems, faucets, toilets, and showers. • Communicate with customers in a professional and respectful manner, providing clear explanations and multiple service options when appropriate. • Maintain accurate job records, time logs, and materials in ServiceTitan (or similar software). • Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts and tools. • Represent Duty Calls Plumbing with professionalism, honesty, and integrity in every interaction. Qualifications Required: • Valid Indiana Plumbing License (Journeyman or higher). • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on plumbing experience (residential and/or commercial). • Knowledge of Indiana state and local plumbing codes. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional appearance. Preferred (Nice-to-Have): • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar job-tracking software. • Backflow certification, water treatment experience, or other specialties. • Prior experience mentoring or training apprentices. • Willingness to participate in after-hours/on-call rotation.
