The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in industrial, commercial, and/or residential settings. Journeyman Pipefitters will work with various pipe materials and systems, ensuring precision and compliance with safety and industry standards. This is a long term commercial project, working Monday-Friday 40+hours a week, and pay is up to $35/hr depending upon experience. Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine layout requirements. • Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes to required shapes and sizes using specialized tools and equipment. • Assemble and install pipes, valves, fittings, and pressure regulators for water, gas, steam, and other systems. • Inspect and test installed systems using pressure gauges and other testing methods to identify leaks or defects. • Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing piping systems. • Work with various pipe materials including copper, steel, plastic, and cast iron. • Operate and maintain pipe fitting tools such as pipe cutters, welding torches, and pipe benders. Qualifications & Requirements: • Proven experience as a Journeyman Pipefitter. • Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Proficiency in using hand and power tools required for pipefitting. • Knowledge of welding, brazing, and soldering techniques is a plus. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • OSHA safety training or equivalent safety certification is a plus.
