Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter (TIG Welder) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and maintaining piping systems using TIG welding techniques in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of pipe fabrication, welding processes, and the ability to work with various tools and materials. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems operate efficiently and safely. Duties & Responsibilities • Fabricate and install piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. • Build and assemble pipe sections, valves, and fittings using TIG welding and other welding techniques. • Perform pipe threading, cutting, and soldering tasks to ensure secure and precise connections. • Utilize power tools, calipers, and measuring instruments for accurate fabrication and installation. • Inspect installed piping systems to identify potential issues and conduct necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on projects, including fire sprinkler fitting installations. • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Experience & Qualifications • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role is preferred. • Strong proficiency in TIG welding (GTAW) with experience working on stainless steel and other metals. • Familiarity with pipeline construction techniques, materials, and industry standards. • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. • Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting and other specialized piping systems is a plus. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
