Journeyman Pipefitter

Responsibilities include responding to mechanical maintenance needs throughout the facility, including the ability to layout, assemble, fabricate and maintain piping systems, as well as perform diagnostics and make repairs; replace piping and tubing in kind (ie: remove old piping/tubing and replace with new of same materials/fittings/routing); cut pipe threads using hand and powered tools; fit welded pipe; bend tubing. Knowledge and ability to perform welding and/or millwright duties is strongly desired. Candidates must possess solid initiative, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team; perform work in a safe manner in accordance with company guidelines and standards; be willing to work rotating shifts as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Union membership upon successful completion of probation. Previous experience working in a 24/7 industrial setting preferred; availability to work rotating shifts required. A Post-Secondary Degree in a related field or formal advanced training (trade school) received is desired/High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
