Position Summary: The Journeyman Pipefitter is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, welding, and maintaining mechanical piping systems in accordance with plumbing codes, standards, and regulations. This position will oversee the work of apprentices to ensure the compatibility and safety of the work performed. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as a pipefitter in process piping installation, maintenance, and repair • License (PJ-02-W), or Journeyman Pipefitter/Pipefitter - Unrestricted License (PJU). • Possess a valid Massachusetts, Journeyman Pipefitter/Pipefitter Welder - Process Piping • High school diploma or equivalent. • Knowledge of pipefitting techniques, procedures, and safety requirements. • Knowledge and understanding of general and subcontract documents, drawings, and • specifications, construction means, methods, and materials. • Knowledge of MA governing requirements, regulations, and permissions regarding process piping • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications. • Strong welding skills using TIG, MIG, and stick welding techniques. • Valid US Driver's License.
