The ideal candidate will possess: • Active Journeyman Electrician license • 3-5 years of experience in general construction and electrical work • Valid Driver's License • Reliable transportation • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to all OSHA safety policies • Ability to read plans and complete work in a professional workmanship manner • Ability to inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with codes • High school diploma or equivalent education. This role involves troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work meets ELCCO’s high standards—on time, on budget, and in full compliance with industry codes and regulations. Additionally, the Service Technician will build strong client relationships to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities • Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs for commercial, industrial, and residential clients. • Diagnose and fix electrical components, including wiring, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits. • Install power supply wiring and conduit (EMT, O-CAL, Rigid, MC cable, cable trays), • Installation and maintenance of electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment. • Inspect equipment and systems for hazards, defects, and compliance with codes and industry standards. • Respond to emergency service calls and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. • Identify additional service opportunities, price new work, and upsell system upgrades. • Coordinate with other service providers and vendors when necessary. • Maintain accurate reports, service orders, and documentation. • Conduct training and provide technical support to customers and field labor.
