Incumbent constructs, erects, installs, or repairs structures and fixtures made of wood, including; concrete forms, building frameworks, partitions, joists, studding, and rafters; and wood stairways, window and door frames. Provides support to all aspects of the jobsite and work with sub-contractors to keep the job moving forward. Demolition duties will be required at times. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Layout, frame, pre-cut all needed materials. • Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware. • Read and interpret project drawings and construct walls, floors and roofs in accordance with project needs. • Inspect and report on job site as needed to ensure compliance with all company policies and safety standards. • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment needed for carpentry duties. • Assist in cleaning and closing a job site at the completion of a project, as needed. • Travel to job site locations and obtain materials, as needed. • Follow safety requirements and utilize personal protective equipment. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
