Your Day-to-Day: A Wind Turbine Generator Equipment Engineer focuses on the electrical aspects of wind turbine systems, ensuring the generators and related equipment function efficiently and reliably. * This role involves design, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the electrical components within a wind turbine. * Ensure the generator and other electrical systems operate correctly, maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime. * Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables * Data driven decision making skills * Ability to relate to Field Service Personnel to provide adequate technical support Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: * Bachelor's - Engineering * Experience: 2+ years * Strong understanding of the principles and operation of electrical rotating machines, including electromagnetic theory and machine dynamics. * Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions for generator systems, using diagnostic tools such as Vibration Monitoring, Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA, ESA), and endoscopic inspections. * Familiarity with materials and techniques used in the construction of rotating electrical machines and the manufacturing processes involved. * Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS)Familiarity and experience with Root Cause Analysis * Experience with writing repair, operations, and/or maintenance procedures and specifications * Capability to translate and communicate financial and technical business cases to gain leadership approval Why WECTEC Staffing Services? This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) The Energy Power Generation Division is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the Central Maintenance – Special Projects organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction/renewables industry, demonstrated experience in project management, and experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholder across multiple disciplines Location: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, unless travelling to a project. 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) In this role, you will collaborate with and assist a lead Project Manager in a as well as various technical/engineering projects. A technical background (understanding of mechanical/electrical aspects; field construction techniques, equipment, etc.) is preferred. Travel to projects in the field will be required (up to 25%), and the ability to become certified and climb a wind turbine will be required. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Assist with the planning and execution of Wind Turbine construction and technical/engineering projects • Build and upkeep project schedules in Smartsheet • Engage with outside vendors to determine material availability, execution schedule, and other items • Meet with internal stakeholders regularly for on-going project status updates • Prepare and host pre-bid/pre-construction meetings • Travel to projects site to oversee execution of tasks and provide daily reports • Climb wind turbines to validate execution of work depending on project scope Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s – Engineering or relevant field/construction experience • Experience: 3+ years • Ability to lift 35 lbs. • Ability to become NextEra climb-certified and climb a Wind Turbine for engineering inspections and quality of work assurance Preferred Qualifications • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified • Proficient in PM Scheduling software (i.e. Smartsheet, Excel) • Basic understanding of crane operations EOE of Minorities / Females / Vets / Disability.
