**A Snapshot of Your Day** In this role you'll be responsible for the construction, commissioning, and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa and / or Senvion wind turbines at one of our potential Wind Turbine sites in the US. Although this position will have a home wind farm site, it will also be part of a mobile team that supports three other sites as needed. A College degree or equivalent competency in a field related to the work of a wind farm technician ie: electrical / mechanical systems is desirable. Various combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered. + Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment. Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations. Must pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner to ensure ability to safely perform the job functions and meet the physical demands of the position. + Strong ability to prioritize and plan daily/weekly work with a high level of quality orientation, ability to analyze and resolve problems independently. + Hands experience working with electrical systems including PLC programming and converters. + Experience interacting with customers at various levels of responsibility within their respective organizations. + Traveling (up to 95%) to customer sites within and outside the US is a requirement of the job. Must be eligible to hold a valid Passport and Driver's License. THE CHALLENGE This position reports to the Solar O&M Supervisor. The Solar O&M Tech I will be Responsible for assigned aspects of the maintenance and operation of utility scale PV power plant. Duties include supervised monitoring PV Plant operation through SCADA, commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgears, trackers, and metering systems.
