Qualifications: Field Engineer I: • Compensation: $65,000-$70,000/year, commensurate with experience. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. • High School graduate or equivalent with two or more years' experience in a related construction field. • Must complete and pass the local or state certified SWPPP inspector program. Field Engineer II: • Compensation: $70,000-$80,000/year, commensurate with experience. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and one to two years' experience in a related construction field. • High School graduate or equivalent with three or more years' experience in a related construction field. • Must complete and pass the local or state certified SWPPP inspector program. Field Engineer III: • Compensation: $80,000-$90,000/year, commensurate with experience. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. • High School graduate or equivalent with four or more years' experience in a related construction field. The Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer is responsible for independently assessing building electrical systems while performing technical on-site surveys and in-office analysis on assigned projects. Analysis will include participation in technical studies, investigations, and development of energy-efficient scope on assigned projects. Specific responsibilities include: • Assists in the production of projects that are on-time, within-budget, and meet the requirements of industry standards & codes and client specifications. • Leads, schedules, and conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions independently. Assists in identifying and preparing energy efficient scope. • Performs electrical system calculations including solar energy generation, battery sizing, generator power system sizing, etc. • Interacts in meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects as needed independently; prepares meeting notes. • Designs and prepares documentation for electrical systems for projects including solar arrays, battery energy storage systems, and demand response programs. • Assists Mechanical Survey Team with necessary electrical infrastructure designs to support proposed mechanical equipment changes/upgrades.
