Job Description Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Essential Functions/Responsibilities • Safely handle and transport materials using equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and dollies. Manage inventory and organize workstations efficiently. • Interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and instructions to determine fabrication requirements and processes. • Set up and operate various fabrication equipment including saws, iron workers, drill presses, plasma cutting tables, shears, and press brakes to produce metal components and sub-assemblies. • Perform quality fabrication including layout, fit-up, and tack welding according to specifications and tolerances. • Execute GMAW, GTAW, FCW, or SMAW welding techniques to meet engineering specifications and quality standards. • Conduct quality checks on completed welds and projects, making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications. • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures when operating equipment and moving materials. Qualifications Education/Experience High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) / Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), plus three (3) years experience as a welder/fabricator, or completion of AWS Welding certification; or equivalent combination of education and experiences. Advanced knowledge of SMAW (stick), GMAW (mig), GTAW (tig) welding processes preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Welding Skills. Ability to perform Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and acetylene welding. Ability to perform stick, arc, and flux core (FCW) welding. Ability to properly setup and prioritize functions related to welding assignments. Ability to weld various types of metals. Technical Skills and Knowledge. Advanced blueprint/part drawing reading comprehension skills. Ability to extract and comprehend information from complex drawings and use the data to construct fabrications. Advanced understanding of spatial reasoning orientation in two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces, case and effect, heat conduction, velocity, gravity and force. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance. Apply accurate mathematical and arithmetic calculations of whole numbers, decimals and fractions including conversions, addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing and an understanding of geometric shapes and angles. Ability to obtain and maintain industrial vehicle (e.g. forklift) certification(s). Working Environment While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts such as overhead cranes, vibration and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Hard working surfaces for standing and walking. Personal Protective Equipment such as safety footwear, goggles, gloves, respirators, etc., required. Additional Information $25-$37 / hourly The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $25.00-$37.00 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. In this role, you will perform all standard and special set ups with or without fixtures and prepare material for welding. ASME Code Welder

Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • Proven experience in static equipment design and certification under ASME and PED standards. • Strong knowledge of ASME Sec. VIII & IX, PED directives, welding procedures, and code interpretations. • Hands-on experience with pressure vessel design and revalidation processes. • Familiarity with certification processes including CE marking and interaction with notified bodies. • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred: • Certification in ASME Code, PED compliance, or Welding Engineering. • Experience with pressure vessel design software/tools (e.g., PV Elite, Compress). • Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
