Journeyman/Apprentice HVAC Sheetmetal Installer

Job description Climate Control Systems & Service is a local Commercial Mechanical and Temperature Controls Contractor. We are seeking a Journeyman (but will consider an Apprentice with minimum of 2 years experience) HVAC Sheetmetal Installer for commercial, institutional, and residential settings. Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. with occasional overtime. The successful candidate will be proficient in all aspects of HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation. The position will entail work on commercial and residential installation projects. Journeyman will be installing sheet metal ducts, spiral ducts, roof top units, and other HVAC equipment. You must be able to read and interpret commercial HVAC blueprints. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to make good decisions. Job Title: Journeyman HVAC Sheetmetal Installer Primary Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or project specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installation of materials and equipment required to complete project • Install work in accordance to blueprints and in conformance with specifications • Setting RTUs, Curbs, Split Systems, and other various equipment • Installation of Kitchen Hoods and related equipment • Ensures high quality of work and adherence to schedule • Keep work area, vehicle, and tools clean and organized • Communicate with customer and document work done • Work well with customer, co-workers, and subcontractors • Other duties as assigned Requirements • Minimum 2 years verifiable work experience • Good oral and written communication skills • Ability to work unsupervised • Clean, safe driving record • Good customer service skills • Flexible and highly motivated self-starter • Professional appearance at all times Benefits Climate Control Systems & Service is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that is leading the way in the industry. HVAC Fabricator

Job Title: HVAC FabricatorReports To: Fabrication Shop Manager Position Overview:The HVAC Fabricator is responsible for constructing, assembling, and performing HVAC fabrication tasks as directed by the Fabrication Shop Manager. This role requires exceptional skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with the standards set by Midwestern Mechanical. The shop fabricator will be making various sizes & types of Ductwork and Duct fittings from drawings and preparing them for installation in the field or shipping. Key Responsibilities: • Adhere to Midwestern Mechanical's safety, conduct, and quality policies. • Ensure fabrication tasks are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to manage equipment use and material handling, ensuring optimal use of raw materials. • Foster positive relationships with shop, office, and field staff. • Assist with off-site field work as needed. Education & Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements: • Strong hand and arm strength with fine motor skills, capable of gripping and holding objects. • Ability to use power tools, including those requiring overhead operation. • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally. • Comfort with climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in various body positions (kneeling, crouching, reaching, etc.). • Able to perform repetitive motion tasks and work in noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous environments. • Ability to work with various pieces of equipment.
