Sheet Metal Technician

Sheet Metal Technician (Aircrafts) Pay: $35 - $45/hr Shift Options: Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Tuesday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Job Description We are offering three distinct positions for skilled Aircraft Structural Technicians. These positions involve working in different environments including Structures Backshop, Commercial Hangar, and Government Hangar. Each position requires working with flight controls and structural components, performing maintenance and repair tasks on various aircraft types. Responsibilities • Repair, refurbish, and fabricate flight controls and structural components such as elevators, ailerons, rudders, leading edge flaps, slats, spoilers, and stabilizers. • Perform sheet metal riveting, precision drilling, fabrication, countersinking, reaming, cutting, deburring, and trimming. • Use various sheet metal fasteners including button head rivets, countersunk rivets, blind rivets, CherryMAX rivets, Hi-Loks, Hi-lites. • Work on a wide variety of corporate jets and general aviation turboprop aircraft in a Part 145 MRO environment. • Perform C & D Checks with a major focus on corrosion repair on a fleet of Dornier 328 intelligence aircraft. Essential Skills • 3+ years of total experience performing repairs, maintenance, or modifications. • Ownership of a basic set of tools. • Stable job history. • Proficiency in sheet metal repair and fabrication. • Experience in aviation maintenance and aircraft modification. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Heavy Maintenance experience preferred. • Experience with corporate aircraft preferred. Why Work Here?
