PLUMBING SUPERVISOR I (FI-10) [1 vacancy]

The Department of Parks and Recreation, Maintenance Support Services Division, has one (1) vacancy for Plumbing Supervisor I in the Aiea/Pearl City/Halawa area. Special Work Requirements: This position serves as a Disaster Response Worker and sometimes requires working beyond the normal workday, on weekends, as necessary, to meet schedules and deadlines. May be called to work while on off-duty status to respond to laborer emergencies. Employee shall provide a valid after-hours contact number. This position is required to have unescorted access to the Joint Traffic Management Center (JTMC) and the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) Headquarters and any police station. Any employee with unescorted access to secured areas and equipment related to the JTMC requires a fingerprint-based national criminal history record check prior to assignment to this position authorized by HRS 846-2.7 (b)(37) and in accordance with JTMC Policy No. 2016-B.06. Description: We are hiring commercial journeyman plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of commercial plumbing experience within the scope of tenant improvements or service. A service vehicle is issued after a two-week training program. The position schedule is Sunday to Thursday various hours including overnights.
