Summary: While working independently or under minimal supervision, install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair complex plumbing systems, components, equipment, and facilities in rural Alaska. Perform plumbing tasks professionally while following all applicable plumbing codes, regulations and engineered plumbing systems. Responsibilities: ALL I nspects, installs, repairs and replaces plumbing systems per current Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC); installs plumbing systems per engineer’s design following standard construction documents. E nsures compliance with safety, building code and inspection requirements and that the Site-Specific Safety Plan is followed. E stimates time and material costs for plumbing installation and repair.
