Job Summary A successful Plumber at Staab Construction is responsible for installing and maintaining water and sewage distribution systems, natural gas systems, compressed air systems, and chemical feed systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Universal Plumbing Code (UPC), problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Key Responsibilities: • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing and other piping systems. • Install plumbing piping, equipment, fixtures, specialties, valves, flow meters, and other pipeline items. • Knowledge of relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding plumbing code work installation. • Proficiency with transit and laser level setting lines, grades, and elevations. • Locate and repair issues or leaking pipe systems. • Maintain accurate as-built drawings for record. • Perform other construction duties as needed. • Coordinate with all other trades during installation. Requirements: • Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Plumber certification. • Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program or completion of a two-year trade school. • Knowledge or experience with wastewater and water treatment or other water control systems is a plus.

Traveling Fitter/Welder

Custom Fabricating & Repair, Inc. (CFR) is offering another great opportunity to join our team! We are currently seeking motivated, safety minded individuals for multiple qualified Traveling Fitter/Welder positions with 3-5 years of experience in sanitary stainless steel process piping for the food, beverage, and dairy industry. Overview: This job can be filled remotely from various states and does not require candidates to be local. Our Field Installation Fitter/Welder position offers the exciting opportunity to travel across the U.S. for the fabrication, movement, and installation of stainless-steel food and dairy equipment. Our crews require a variety of skill sets to include fabricators, fitters, welders and finishers to be able to meet the customer’s needs. Typical work cycle is either 16 days on (2 travel days), and 5 days off or, 10 days on (2 travel days), 4 days off. All potential candidates must be willing to travel frequently. Travel and lodging expenses are arranged and paid for by the company and a daily per diem rate of $65 (16-5 Rotation) or $45 (10-4 Rotation) for meals is also included and a per diem rate of $32.50 (16-5 Rotation) or $22.50 (10-4 Rotation) on the travel day home. Our Field Installation employees have 6-figure earning potential. Even at our baseline hourly pay, Field Install Crews can gross $104K annually, but based on skill and experience, there's potential to gross up to $331K annually. This position has the potential to move up rapidly into a Lead or Supervisor role.
