Job Responsibilities • To install, pipe, weld, wire and operate power tools at the direction of the Project Manager; • To effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning dairy equipment; • To ensure the customer’s expectations are exceeded and they are satisfied with the work performed; • To perform work on and off-site safely, efficiently and effectively; • As new projects occur, our technicians also help with layout, installation, and setup of new equipment. Our Field Installation Fitter/Welder position offers the exciting opportunity to travel across the U.S. for the fabrication, movement, and installation of stainless-steel food and dairy equipment. Our crews require a variety of skill sets to include fabricators, fitters, welders and finishers to be able to meet the customer’s needs. Typical work cycle is either 16 days on (2 travel days), and 5 days off or, 10 days on (2 travel days), 4 days off. All potential candidates must be willing to travel frequently. Travel and lodging expenses are arranged and paid for by the company and a daily per diem rate of $65 (16-5 Rotation) or $45 (10-4 Rotation) for meals is also included and a per diem rate of $32.50 (16-5 Rotation) or $22.50 (10-4 Rotation) on the travel day home. Our Field Installation employees have 6-figure earning potential. Even at our baseline hourly pay, Field Install Crews can gross $104K annually, but based on skill and experience, there's potential to gross up to $331K annually.
