Pay Range: $25-$40/hr depending on experience Work Hours & Benefits • 40 hours per week • Medical, Dental, Vision plans • Free Basic Life Insurance. • Short- and Long-Term Disability • 401k • Company Cellphone • Paid Holidays • Paid Time off Job Responsibilities: • Selects type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications. • Inspects worksite to determine presence of obstructions. • Coordinates with other trades for pipe routing • Cuts pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine. • Threads pipe using threading machine. • Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine. • Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe. • Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools. • Secures pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools. • Installs and maintains refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meter, pneumatic and hydraulic controls, and piping. • Tests piping systems for leaks by using hydrostatic and pneumatic methods. • Welds pipe supports to structural steel members. • Observes production machines in assigned area of manufacturing facility to detect machinery malfunctions. • Loads, transports, and unloads material, tools, equipment, and supplies. • Performs minor maintenance of cleaning activities of tools and equipment. • Observes and complies with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures • Performs other duties as required. Pipefitter Qualifications / Skills: • Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety • Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers • Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines • Ability to learn basic computer skills to communicate via email, document daily work and progress, and track procurements and status • Math as required for piping angles • Ability to lift 50lbs Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: • Minimum 4 years' experience in mechanical systems • Journeyman gas fitting and/or HVAC license preferred • Welding certifications GMAW/MIG, GMAW/TIG, SMAW preferred • Extensive knowledge of codes • Experience piping with cooling towers, chillers, boilers, large roof top equipment, air handlers etc • Experience with hydronic and refrigeration piping processes • Experience with VRF systems Please note the selected candidate will be required to submit to full pre-employment background and drug screening.

Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components. • Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials. • Identify required tools and special equipment. • Select the type and size of pipe required. • Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures. • Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment. • Assemble and install valves and fittings. • Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls. • Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems. • Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets. • Install, repair and maintain water heaters and conditioners. • Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim. • Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks. 2. Maintain all building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation. • Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures. • Apply all codes to installations, repairs and maintenance. • Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met. • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded. • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes. • Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements. 3. Administer and schedule work • Prepare budgets • Prepare orders of supplies • Keep daily reports • Schedule work in cooperation with other trades and suppliers 4.
