This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in residential and commercial electrical installations, aligning with the National Electrical Codes and ensuring project completion with precision. Must live in the USA preferably in Alaska, however we will accept candidates from reciprocal states! Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To • Oversee and perform electrical installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with codes. • Lead and mentor apprentices, ensuring quality work and effective learning. • Maintain clean and organized job sites. • Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment. • Manage tools and vehicles necessary for various projects. • Communicate effectively with team members and clients. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess • Must have a valid Alaska JM license OR JM license from a reciprocal state (Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming). • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building construction, and maintenance. • Physical ability to handle demanding tasks including lifting over 50 lbs and climbing. • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. • Must pass a background check and possess basic hand tools. Work Environment • Fieldwork at various project sites, including homes and construction sites. • Exposure to physical activities like bending, climbing, and kneeling. • Requires working in varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments. • Responsible for the safety and training of apprentices.
