Welder / Fabricator (TIG, MIG, Stick)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator skilled in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, layout, and assembly of structural and custom steel components. Responsibilities: • Perform TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum as required • Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings • Fit, align, and assemble metal parts according to drawings or specifications • Operate hand tools, grinders, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment • Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and appearance • Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all company and OSHA safety standards Qualifications: • 1+ years of welding/fabrication experience (trade school or equivalent experience accepted) • Proficient in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding processes • Ability to read and work from blueprints or shop sketches • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality welds • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods • AWS certification preferred but not required • Reliable transportation and good attendance record • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Pay & Benefits: • Competitive hourly rate based on experience • Overtime available • Searching for candidates interested in long-term employment and advancement • 401(k) benefits and retirement options Work Location: • All work typically within 1 hr. travel of Kinston, NC Schedule: • Full-time • Monday to Friday (some overtime as needed) How to Apply: Apply directly through Indeed or email your resume/work history to dbwaters01@gmail.com. Welder

Job Responsibilities: • Use a GMAW (Gas Metal ARC Welding) electric arc welding process to weld parts to print specifications. • Inspect parts per print specifications. • Set up and adjust welder and fixtures. • Use a carbon arc air gouging and cutting process for rework. • Use hand grinders to fit parts as needed. • Rotate to one of 16 various weld stations. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Candidate should be able to read blueprints, understand weld symbols, basic math, reason and analyze. • Should be able to use hand welder, hand grinders, air arc, hoist, tape measure, hammer, cutting torch, chisel, clamps and miscellaneous hand tools. • Candidate should possess proficient weld skills.
