MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • TIG welding methods & techniques and equipment set-up and operation. • Experience with assembly and fabrication practices, along with the layout of structural tubing. • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions and knowledge to clamp, hold, tack-weld, and grind parts to obtain required configurations. • Detect faulty equipment or defective materials and monitor the fitting and welding processes to avoid issues. • Operate hand and power tools and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and sketches. QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to TIG weld light gauge stainless steel of .048 thickness to .120. • Knowledge to read and interpret welding and fabrication drawings. • Knowledge sets include Blueprint Reading, Grinders, Hand clamps, welding equipment, Protective gloves, Safety glasses, TIG (Tungsten inert gas), TIG welding equipment, and Welding masks.
