Cedar Park Group is hiring HVAC Sheet Metal Installers for a commercial project. We're looking for both Journeyman (5+ years experience) and Apprentice-level (1–3 years) mechanics with experience forming and installing metal for heating ducts. A mix of skill levels is welcomed on site. Key Responsibilities • Fabricate, cut, and install sheet metal for HVAC duct systems. • Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions accurately. • Use tools of the trade to ensure precise ductwork and secure fittings. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, bend, power tools, and machinery (e.g., shears, brakes, presses, and welders). • Install and secure sheet metal components, ducts, piping, and systems in various construction or industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, and installation procedures. • Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components, ensuring the structural integrity of assemblies. • Use saws, grinders, and other tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal components. • Assemble and fit components, ensuring that they align properly and are securely fastened. • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed. • Repair or replace damaged sheet metal products, including ventilation systems, ductwork, and roofing. • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain inventory of materials and tools, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling of sheet metal and components. • Performs other duties as assigned. • * Ability to manage time, delegate assignments and follow through to ensure good results. • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws. • Ability to use computer tools including E-Mail, Word, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
